About Beatrice
It didn’t matter what her schedule was, for the last 6 years beginning 2014, she would take a 4 hour trip from Abuja to Okpella in Edo State alongside her husband, offering food items and clothing to the widows in her community. This annual event turned out to be the sole reason over 200 widows in her community looked forward to the Yuletide. She certainly left a mark for posterity.
2017, first daughter’s wedding.
About Beatrice
Young Beatrice in the 80's.
After a brief illness in August of 2020, she passed away, leaving behind her loved ones. The quality and depth of life she lived isn’t one that ends on a tombstone. At 54, she made the impact of a hundred year old, forcing us to rethink the ‘why’ of our existence.
“This is her family’s way of immortalizing and carrying on her legacy, doing exactly what she loved to do—impact.”
